H-E-B opened its 11th Dallas-Fort Worth location on February 4, 2026, in Forney, Texas, marking another milestone in the grocer’s North Texas expansion. The 139,000-square-foot store at 11700 E. U.S. Highway 80 features a two-story True Texas BBQ restaurant with drive-thru, full-service pharmacy, fuel station with car wash, and curbside and home delivery services. The grand opening, originally scheduled for January 28, was delayed due to winter weather and included $20,000 in donations to local nonprofits. H-E-B plans to employ approximately 650 people at the Forney location, serving one of the fastest-growing communities in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
